Bohua AP teachers Ms. Zhang Zhen and Ms. Tang Ying will give a presentation about the AP Chinese Exam and how you can help your       children prepare. Parents from all grades are welcome to attend.

• A Documentary – “Reclaiming Chinatown”: 📽

Chinatown in Denver, Colorado, was a residential and business district of Chinese Americans in what is now the LoDo section of the city. The first Chinese resident of Denver arrived in 1869 and lived in a shanty at Wazee and F Streets. Additional Chinese immigrants arrived the following year. The Denver Office of Storytelling has created a documentary commemorating Denver’s Historic Chinatown and, after months of interviews, filming, and editing, is excited to share the completed documentary!

The Shaolin Hung Mei Kung Fu Association is proud to have been offered the opportunity to share this documentary at its “Academy of Chinese Martial and Cultural Arts.”  While admission is free, we do request tax-deductible donations and suggest a minimum of $10.00 per person.

 Casey Middle School Asia Day, Jan 17, 2020

BoHua Chinese School volunteers have participated the Asia Day cultural celebration at Casey Middle School in Boulder on Jan 17, 2020.

Asia Day 分四个sessions

1）赏：春节起源、物品与庆祝方式，搭配丁国泰老师书法/国画的现场展示，贴春联，视频短片，小游戏用筷子夹珠子，剪窗花等

2）说/唱：教简单日常中文会话和《新年好》歌曲，结合视频短片

3）写：毛笔字

4）览：中华文化用品，丝绸、服装（唐装）麻将、中国象棋等。

我们还给每一位参加workshop的孩子自制鼠年贺卡，并写上了他们的中文名。结合Trvia问题， 美国孩子们对中华文化有了进一步了解。
