各位家长，学生，老师，志愿服务及工作人员，
Dear Parents, Students, Teachers, Volunteers/Staff members,
•The coming Sunday (May 13) will be our last school day of the 2017-2018 school year. All the CTC, CTE, EC will have classes as usual.
本周日（5/13）是本学年的最后一堂课，所有CTC，CTE，EC课照常。
•The next Sunday (May 20), BOHUA will hold the traditional End-School-Year Performance in the Auditorium of Fairview High School.
下周日（5/20），博华将在FHS礼堂举行年终表演。
As you might know, Fairview High School is under construction. Eventually, we got the permission to use the Auditorium.

As a school tradition, BOHUA will hold the End-School-Year Performance in the Auditorium on 5/20 to celebrate our students’ achievements on the stage after another year of learning Chinese Language.
This year, the performance format is a bit different.
Instead of running 3 hours of performance from 1 to 4pm in one stretch, it will be arranged into the 1st half and the 2nd half.
The 1st half of the performance will be 1:00 - 2:30, which will be dedicated to younger students from K to 4th Grade.
After 15 minutes of quick break, the 2nd half of the performance will be 2:45 - 4:15, which will be dedicated to 5th Grade students and above.
This new arrangement is trying to save energy and retain attention of the students, especially the little ones in the lower grades, for them to complete the performance in their optimal conditions.
We encourage the audience to sit through at least the half performance to help celebrate our students’ achievements and to show your support.
博华中文学校将例行于5月20日在学校礼堂进行学年汇演。今年的汇演将分成上下两个半场。
上半场从1点到2：30， 主要是K到4年级的学生参加演出。
上半场结束后，有10 到15分钟的换场休息。下半场从2：45到4：15， 主要由五年级以上的同学演出。
这样的安排是为了能照顾学生和家长们的体力，特别是让低年级同学能够圆满完成演出。
我们也希望观众们能够坐满至少半场，不要中途退席，以保证演出的质量。
