From the Principal's Desk: online classes will be held this Sunday (Mar 15)
Post date: Mar 11, 2020 11:37:38 PM
Dear all,
Given the rapidly increasing number of presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 in Colorado and the declaration of a state of emergency, after serious consideration, the school council has made the following decisions:
1. The Bohua Chinese School will start online classes using Zoom from this Sunday (Mar 15, regular school time, 2-4pm for Chinese, 1-2pm and 4-5pm for some EC classes). As I mentioned in earlier updates, some classes have already explored the online teaching/learning option within the past few weeks. Last Sunday (Mar 8), all Chinese teachers and some EC teachers have also attended a training/testing session hold at the school.
2. The teachers will send out guidelines within the next couple of days on how to join the online class and participate in the learning process. So please watch your email box carefully. In case you don’t receive an email by this Friday, please check with your teachers.
3. The school council and board members will keep monitoring closely the developing situation of COVID-19. In the meantime, the online classes will continue every Sunday, according to current Bohua school calendar (https://newsite.bohua.org/calendar) until further notice.
Stay safe and healthy!
Best,
Wei
