Courses 课程

BoHua Chinese School offers two language programs CTC (Chinese Taught in Chinese) and CTE (Chinese Taught in English)  and an EC (Extracurricular courses) program.  博华中文学校提供两种语言课程: CTC(用中文授课)和CTE(用英文授课)和一个EC(课外活动)课程。 

CTC program: This program is designed for children of Chinese heritage and whose primary language used at home is Chinese.  In this program, we teach Chinese as a heritage language. The curriculum is designed by Dr. Ma, founder of the Stanford Chinese School. For questions about the CTC program please contact Xiaojun Qin at xiaojun.qin@bohua.org.

CTE program: This program is aimed at students whose first language is not Chinese. BoHua offers multiple levels of the CTE program and accepts kids as young as 4 years old.  After completing each level, students have the option of taking the YCT test. The YCT (Youth Chinese Test) is a standardized examination for elementary, middle, and high school students to evaluate their proficiency in the Chinese language.  For questions about the CTE program please contact Jessica Kuo: jessica.kuo@bohua.org.
