My name is Melinda and I am currently a junior. Some of my hobbies include reading, baking, doing ballet, running, and figure skating. I have been at Bohua since sixth grade, so now that I have graduated from the program and experienced all its benefits, I want to take this opportunity to give back and make it even better for the current and future students.

Hello everyone, my name is Sirui Wang. I'm in tenth grade. I have been studying Chinese at Bohua since I was young for 10 years, up until AP Chinese. Hello, my name is Justin Ge and I am in the 10th grade. I’ve been with Bohua for 8 years, and I feel that I have the duty to give back to the community and continue Chinese learning and culture. I enjoy playing sports, music, and playing pitch pot.

My name is Andy Gu, a current 10th-grade student and a member of the Bohua Community for 9 years. I hope to express my interest in the culture of being Chinese, specifically, in carrying on that culture and meaning. I want to help build a communal Chinese Identity. I love learning and discovering new passions.

Bohua Chinese School has always been a very special place for me ever since my first class here six years ago. Now that I am a sophomore in high school, I hope I can make positive contributions to our school. I have always found a sense of belonging and community at Bohua, and I want to help other students feel the same. I completed the AP Chinese course in 2023 and am currently a teacher’s assistant and a member of the Youth Leadership Council. Outside of Bohua, I enjoy playing the violin and teaching my own English class to Chinese students.

I would like to serve the community because I value our culture and traditions and I hope to help make Bohua a better place for future generations along with my peers. During my free time, I like to do art, and archery and spend time with my family and friends.

Hi! I’m Sophia and I’m currently a sophomore. Bohua Chinese School has taught me so much about the value of my cultural identity as I grow up in America, and I hope I can teach others to value their culture the same way that I was taught. In my free time I like to dance, play the piano, and listen to music.
